1: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

2: Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, nigella seeds, and fennel seeds.

3: Turn the heat to low. When the seeds start to splutter, add chopped green chilies.

4: Sauté for about 3-4 minutes.

5: Now add turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder, chili powder, dried mango powder, and mix well.

6: Sauté for 1 minute.

7: Add gram flour and sauté for more 2 minutes.

8: Add garam masala and mix everything. Turn off the heat.
