Dahi tadka is a quick and easy yogurt-based curry made with creamy curd, onions, and spices. It's ideal for serving with flatbreads or rice, requires minimal preparation time, and is packed with flavor.
In a large bowl, take curd and whisk well until it becomes smooth, then keep aside.
In a pan on medium heat, add ghee, cumin seeds, and asafetida. Sauté until it starts to splutter.
Add onions and ginger to the pan. Sauté until golden brown.
Add all spices (turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt) and sauté until aromatic.
Turn off the flame; the tempering is ready.
Pour the tempering over the curd and mix well.
Add coriander leaves and combine everything thoroughly.
Serve dahi tadka with roti, paratha, or rice.
